BirdWatch Ireland Cork Branch organises outings and other events for members and non-members in Cork city and the eastern side of county Cork on a regular basis. The branch also as encourages members and non-members to become involved in local bird surveys and conservation work. Our branch neighbour West Cork Branch covers activities in the western half of the county. We also feature contact details, events and a link to their website here for anyone interested in BirdWatch Ireland events in the western side of the county. Sunday 29th July at 6.30pm. Tillage Farm wildlife walk and talk In Midleton. Meet at Tesco car park Midleton at 6.30pm in front of Walsh Sports.
Sunday 12th August 6.00
to 8.00 pm. A bird ringing demonstration Workshop by Sam Bayley. Meet
at Harty’s Quay car park on the Rochestown road Cork at 5.45pm.

Peter Wolstenholme, Nicholas Mitchell, Paul Connaughton, Paul Hadland and Mike Cobley will lead outings to the Old Head, Galley Head and Mizen Head when conditions are suitable, which could be any day of the week.
