Cork Branch Events

BirdWatch Ireland Cork Branch organises outings and other events for members and non-members in Cork city and the eastern side of county Cork on a regular basis. The branch also as encourages members and non-members to become involved in local bird surveys and conservation work. Our branch neighbour West Cork Branch covers activities in the western half of the county. We also feature contact details, events and a link to their website here for anyone interested in BirdWatch Ireland events in the western side of the county. Further details of upcoming events are given below.

November 18th: 3.00pm Harpers Island with Paul Moore and committee members.

December 2nd: 9.00am to 4.30pm. SECAD Cork Birdathon Harpers Island, Douglas Estuary and Ballyvergan.

December 12th: SMA Hall Wilton 8.00pm. 'Harper's Island Wetland Centre' - A talk by Jim Wilson.

December 17th: Kilcolman Doneraile. in conjunction with west Cork Branch. See West Cork for details

Sunday December 31st: 1.00 pm. Christmas outing to Douglas Estuary with Tony Nagle. Meet at Hartys Quay at 1.00pm

One-off outings (e.g. for rare birds) may take place. See Facebook page or branch email for details.
