Philadelphia Vireo Vireo philadelphicus
Rare vagrant.
One county record up to the end of 2014.

1985 Galley Head, 12th to 17th October. This is the first Irish and Western Palearctic Record.

Distribution: Breeds in northern North America and winters in Central America. (Cornell Lab of Ornithology)

Red-eyed Vireo Vireo olivaceus
Rare vagrant.

33 county records (figure needs checking), all single birds, up to the end of 2014. The first county record was one on the 6th/7th October 1967 on Cape Clear Island.

Birds have been seen at the following locations: Baltimore, Cape Clear Island (most records), Crookhaven, Dursey Island, Firkeel, Inch Bay, Knockadoon Head, Mizen Head, Toe Head.

Apart from one bird remaining into November all were seen in September and October. 50% stayed for more than a day.
