From noon today it has been raining heavily, torrential at times and from mid-afternoon until nightfall the parents were unable to go out and hunt for food. This is a recording of the live stream from the Sand Martin’s nest burrow 19 in the artificial nesting bank at Harper’s Island Wetlands Nature Reserve.
